Patients with previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) have relied on autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) for more than 20 years; the current standard of care entails high-dose cytarabine-containing chemoimmunotherapy, ASCT, and rituximab maintenance. The researchers enrolled DLBCL patients with relapsed or refractory disease who had already received at least two lines of treatment in the phase 2 portion of a phase 1-2 investigation. They concluded that treatment with glofitamab was successful for DLBCL, with more than half of the patients experiencing a grade 3 or 4 adverse event.

A total of 168 patients were randomly assigned to receive tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) (84 patients) or ipilimumab (84 patients). The median progression-free survival in the TIL group was 7.2 months and 3.1 months in the ipilimumab group; 49% and 21% of the patients, respectively, had an objective response. The TIL group had a median overall survival of 25.8 months, while the ipilimumab group had a median overall survival of 18.9 months.
