In this cohort study of insurance data over an 18-year period covering more than 15,000 pregnancies that involved methadone or buprenoprine use, buprenorphine in pregnancy was associated with a lower risk of adverse neonatal outcomes versus methadone use. However, the risk of adverse maternal outcomes was similar.

Trial participants were instructed on imagery rehearsal therapy — rewriting their recurring nightmare to end on a positive note and then rehearsing that story. Next, targeted memory reactivation was used to link a sound to that positive version of the dream. Lecanemab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds to some forms of amyloid. In this study approximately 1,800 participants age 50-90 with dementia and imaging evidence of amyloid deposits were randomized to biweekly IV lecanemab or placebo. After 18 months, the lecanemab group showed reductions in brain amyloid and moderately less decline on measures of cognition and function.
